Dunshalt, a village situated on the north bank of the River Eden and approximately one mile southeast of Auchtermuchty, was historically a meal milling and textile manufacturing village on the Myres Estate, close to Myres Castle. The village benefits from a well-stocked local shop, and there are many lovely walks around the village.
